Features
Categories, a visual dashboard, recurring payments, data-backed insights, an assistant and monthly reports, all built from your own bank statements.
What FinChakra does with your statement
Every feature works from the transactions in the statements you upload.
Statement upload
Upload PDF, Excel or CSV statements from your bank. Scanned PDFs are not supported yet.
Smart categories
Every transaction is sorted into a clear category, and you can change any that look wrong.
Visual dashboard
Income, expenses, savings and trends, with the numbers shown next to every chart.
Recurring payments
Subscriptions, EMIs and rent are spotted so you can review them in one place.
Data-backed insights
Plain-language observations, each shown with its period and what it is compared with.
Searchable transactions
Search and filter every transaction by date, category, amount or text.
Assistant
Ask about your own verified data in English, Hindi or Hinglish. Answers show the figures they come from.
Monthly report
A PDF summary of income, spending and recurring costs that you can download.
Health view
A factual "what to review" summary from your statements. It is not a credit score and not advice.
A closer look
How FinChakra keeps the numbers dependable.
Numbers first, explanation second
Our own calculation engine works out every figure from your transactions. The assistant only explains figures that were already calculated, so an explanation cannot change a number.
Categories you stay in control of
Transactions are sorted automatically. When the system is less sure about a row, it is flagged for your review instead of being guessed.
- Change the category of any transaction.
- Cash withdrawals are shown separately.
- Refunds count as income; reversals net against the original payment.
Transfers are not spending
Moving money between your own accounts and paying a credit card bill are not counted as income or expense, so your totals are not inflated.
